项目摘要

本研究は，日本社会におけるケア遂行とケア責任の間に存在するズレ，及びケア責任に関する実態レベルと規範レベルのズレ，といったケア責任をめぐる「二重の乖離」の解明を目的としている．本年度は前者に焦点を当てながら研究を進めてきた．まず「遂行」レベルにおけるケア分担の実態を把握した．具体的には，子どものケアと高齢者のケアに直面する者を対象として，インターネット調査のデータを用いながら，インフォーマル・サポートとフォーマル・サポートの組み合わせに着目し，ケアを行う際に人々が利用するソーシャル・サポート・ネットワークのパターンを把握し，ケア遂行における社会化傾向を解明した．次に，戦後日本のマスメディアにおけるケア責任言説の変容を分析し，責任レベルにおいてケアの分担状況について検討した．具体的には，日本三大紙の新聞記事データベースを利用して，1950年代以降子育てする母親像の変容や父親像の転換過程，子どものケアと女性労働の関係図式の変化を明らかにした．また，少子高齢化傾向が顕著した1990年代以降，「子育て支援」を行いケアの社会化を唱える論調が展開されたが，それは「家庭が本来の責任を自覚」した前提をもとに行われており，ケアの共有化を通じて家族の負担を軽減するものより，家族のケア責任の実現を目指したものだと考えられる．こうして，「ケア遂行」における社会化と「ケア責任」における家族内の固定化の間に乖離が存在することが明らかになった．にもかかわらず，表面的な乖離の裏には，ケアが基本的に家族の問題であるという出発点が両方ともに存在しいる．
