2022年度は、4月から8月は後述の調査を実施する上での基礎知識を得るために、過去に中部アフリカ熱帯雨林地域で過去に実施された野生霊長類の生態研究および地域住民の狩猟活動に関する研究の包括的なレビューを行った。先行研究のレビューによって得られた成果は、「日本アフリカ学会 第59回学術大会」で発表した。現在、国際誌へ投稿するためのレビュー論文を2本執筆しており、2023年度中に投稿する予定である。また、9月から翌年3月までの期間は、カメルーン東南部の熱帯雨林地域に位置するブンバベック国立公園に隣接するグリべ村において、「①野生霊長類の個体数調査」「②霊長類を対象にした狩猟活動の実態調査」「③地域住民による霊長類の獣肉利用に関する調査」を実施した。予備的な調査の結果、①に関して、狩猟活動が活発に行われているグリべ村周辺の村落には、既にシロクロコロブス(Colobus guereza)が一度も観察できず、既に生息していない可能性が示唆された。②に関して、カメルーンの森林省で狩猟することが固く禁じられているニシゴリラ(Gorilla gorilla)やチンパンジー(Pan troglodytes等の希少な霊長類種が地域住民によって日常的に狩猟され、食されていることが分かった。本研究の成果は2023年度7月に神戸で開催される「第39回 日本霊長類学会大会」ならびに同年度10月にヤウンデ(カメルーン)で開催されるSATREPSプロジェクトの国際ワークショップで発表する予定である。

In 2022, the basic knowledge of the investigation was obtained from April to August, and the ecological research of wild insects and the activities of local residents were carried out in the past. The results of the previous research were presented at the 59th Academic Conference of the Japanese Academy of Sciences. Currently, the International Journal has submitted two papers, and the 2023 annual submission is scheduled. During the period from September to March of the following year, we conducted a survey on the location of tropical rain forest areas in the southeast, the neighboring villages in the National Park, and a survey on the number of wild species, a survey on the hunting activities of species, and a survey on the utilization of species of species of local inhabitants. The results of the preliminary investigation showed that: (1) the activity of hunting and hunting activities in the surrounding villages in the village, both in the village and in the surrounding villages (Colobus guereza), was once detected, and the possibility of living in the village was also indicated. (2) In the forest province, there are many kinds of species, such as Pan troglodytes, which are rare and long, and local inhabitants, such as daily hunting and eating. The results of this study are scheduled for the launch of the SATREPS platform in July 2023 and the launch of the SATREPS platform in October 2023.
