项目摘要

本年度は, 丸瀬布ー滝の上地域, 中の川地域, 占冠地域などの日高累層群についての補足的野外調査を, また中頓別地域の函渕層群, 幌加内地域の空知層群, 下部蝦夷累層群については野外調査および試料収集を実施し, これらの地域において, 先第三系を中心とする地質図の作成を行った.本年は総研の最終年度であるので, 過去2年間に行った, 日高累層群をはじめ, 常呂帯, 空知・蝦夷帯の先第三系について, 各分担者毎に野外調査結果に基ずき, 室内研究に重点をおいてまとめを行った. また, 昨年12月には, これらの研究成果を持ち寄り, 札幌(北海道大学)において研究集会を開催した. 年度末には, これまでに印刷公表された研究論文を含め, 過去3年間の研究成果をまとめた「研究成果報告書」を作成し(ニュースレターNo.3)を含む), 公表する.
