CAI System for Acquiring Good Writing Skills Based on On-Line Input Function of Handwriting Character

基于在线汉字识别技术，开发了日语汉字书写CAI系统。结果摘要按顺序显示如下。1)手写体字符显示方法的开发。利用样条函数和傅立叶描述符，提出了手写字符的显示方法。这一显示给CAI2带来了良好的感觉，完善了手写体汉字标准数据库。我们对标准数据库进行了修订，以便包括各种各样的汉字。从那时起，数据库拥有2000多种汉字。3)使用我们的数据库检测新型日语文字处理机。我们在系统中使用标准数据库对手写日文文字处理机进行检测。我们认为这种类型的文字处理机在不久的将来会在小学得到广泛的应用，因为公平的手写字符对小学生有好处。

We develop the CAI system for acquiring good writing skills of Japanese characters base on on-line character recognition techniques. The summary of the results are shown below in order.1) Development of handwritten character display method. The display method of handwriting characters is developed using Spline function and Fourier descripter. This display gives good feeling for CAI2) Improving the standard database of handwritten Kanji character. We revise the standard database in order to include various kinds of Kanji. Scince then, the database possess 2000 kinds of Kanji.3) Examine new style Japanese word processer using our database. We examine handwritten Japanese word processer by using standard database in our system. We think this type of word processer will receive wide application to elementary school in the near future because the fair handwritten character is good for students of elementary school.
