本年度は昨年度から各地での調査を継続. 以下, 順に調査地及び調査作例をあげる.1 仙台市博物館の協力を得て「みちのく名宝」展出陳の作品を集中的に調査, 主な作品は, 福島勝常寺広目天像, 山形慈光明院羅刹女像,慈恩寺伝阿弥陀如来像,岩手黒石寺僧形坐像,藤里毘沙門堂兜跋毘沙門天,天台寺聖観音象・十一面観音像等.2.山形県寒河江市慈恩寺にて垣査を行う. 調査対象:三重塔大日如来,本堂普賢菩薩像,文殊菩薩像,十羅刹女,最勝老人,優庁王,仏陀波利属者,菩薩形坐像,聖観音像,聖徳太子像,阿弥陀如来立像,虚空蔵菩薩像,弥勒菩薩像.3 福島県立博物館の協力を得て「会津の仏像」展出陳の作品を集中的に調査. 目な作品は, 名入観音堂木造天部形立像,定徳寺木造薬師如来坐像,薬王寺木造阿弥陀如来坐像,成法寺木造聖観王菩薩坐像,禅定寺地蔵菩薩坐像,泉福寺木造大日学来坐像等.4.岩手県平泉町毛越寺本堂薬師如来坐像の調査.5 岩手県宮古市周辺及び遠野市周辺の調査.6 青森,北海道現存の円空仏を調査.7 山形県米沢市内調査. 昌伝庵大日堂木造大日如来坐像,西明寺木造十一面観音坐像.8 山形市内調査. 極楽寺木造阿弥陀如来坐像,誓願寺木造阿弥陀如来立像.9 山形県朝日村薬師如来立像の調査.以上の調査では, 各像の詳細な法量を測定し, 品質構造についてもできる限り明らかにした. また, 写真も能う限り豊富にモノクロ・カラーとも撮映して基礎資料の充実に努めた.
