1.調査活動:本年度は過去二年間の調査をふまえ、沖縄本島北部、伊是名、伊平屋、慶良間諸島などで現地調査を8月上旬に予定通り行なった。本年度は本研究の最終年度にあたるため、広域的な経済分析が必要な漁業、観光業を中心に地方財政についても各地域でキキトリ調査を行なった。なお、特別参加として、那覇地区における自由貿易地域のキキトリ調査も岩田勝雄(立命大・経済・教授)を中心にして行なった。2.資料収集:本年度も沖縄開発庁総合事務局や沖縄県庁をはじめ、各関連機関(共同組合や民間企業を含む)などで各産業に亘る資料収集を行なうと同時に、農業、漁業、観光業、運輸業、地方財政については、各調査地域で収集した。なお、東京や沖縄の古書店などでも沖縄産業関連資料の収集を行なった。3.研究会活動:6月中旬に「沖縄産業の分析課題と方法」という序説部分の論稿を中心に共同研究会を開催した。調査分析の統一的視点を確立すると同時に、この視点のもとに各産業部門においても、本土復帰時における問題点を整理し、その後における展開を追求することにした。なお、各分担者は執筆中、ないし執筆を終わっているので、内容上の調整をする作業が残っている。4.研究成果発表:本研究の成果は、別記の通り法律文化社より『現代沖縄産業論』という題名で刊行することが、出版社とも合意し、決定している。出版社の都合で300ページ程度の成果発表となるが、調査結果を全面的に発表するには一定の制約がある。したがって、本書で関説しえない部分は、別途に発表形態を検討することにしたい。
