(1)アドルフ・ライヒヴァインの労作教育論を支える思想及びその実践上の特質を明らかにするために、かれの主著のひとつである《Schaffendes Schul-volk(創作する学童たち),1938》を手がかりにして、その内容分析をおこなった。その結果、次のような仮説を立てることができた。(1)ゲオルク・ケルシェンシュタイナーの労作教育論との比較において、まず地域社会との密着度がきわめて高いことが注目される。その内容には1)資源保護という視点2)文化遺産の尊重という視点(生産技術及びその成果について)3)生活文化の尊重という視点(祭りなどの伝統的な行事について)などが含まれていることに格別の意義があるのではないか(2)やはりケルシェンシュタイナーとの比較において1)知性の尊重(たんに訓育の手段としての労作ではない)2)国際理解への配慮(地域に根ざしながら、人類の生存のための国際的な協調,連帯を求める)などが指摘されなくてはならないのではないか(3)ライヒヴァインの造形教育論は、当時の芸術教育運動にみられる自己表現による人格価値の実現という発想が根底にあったのではないか。もしそうであれば、その国際的な潮流のなかでライヒヴァインを理解する必要があるのではないか。シュタイナー学校との親近性も検討するに値する課題となってくるのではないか(2)ライヒヴァイン関係の資料,文献の収集については、W.Wihelm博士の協力を得て、文献については、若干の複写が可能となったが、ライヒヴァインの滞日中の状況については、いまだに手がかりが得られない。

(2) Data on the relationship between the school and its accessibility, collection of documents, collaboration by Dr. W.Wihelm, document collection, possible duplication, delay in the school, etc.
