1.多粒子系等物理的モデルにおけるエルゴード性に関連して、次の様な結果が得られた。(1)【R^d】上にm個の異ったタイプに分かれた合計n個の粒子があり、異ったタイプの粒子間にのみ仂くある種の反揆的相互作用の下で、各粒子がブラウン運動をするというような物理系のモデルが、適当な高次元領域に対するスコロホード方程式の解として構成出来ること、更に、そのスコロホード方程式の解が存在し、一意的に定まることが証明出来た。この解の漸近的性質を調べることに依り、この様な物理系モデルの時間発展が明らかにされる。(2)多粒子系の極限定理の一つとして、異った二つの種類の合計N個の粒子が、実数軸上を、異った種類の粒子は互に行き違うことは出来ないが、同種類の粒子は互に行き違えるという条件の下で、運動しているという系に対して、N→∞とすると、所謂"カオスの伝播"が起こることを示し、更に極限分布が満たす方程式を導いた。(3)3次元Isingモデルのinterfaceに於けるある種の量の和が、適当なスケーリングの下で、Brounian Sheetに収束することを示した。2.エルゴード理論のディオファンタス近似論への応用に関しては、次の結果が得られた。(1)ある種のエルゴード的変換の自然拡大の具体的表現と、複素上半平面上の測地線流との関係を明らかにし、この関係を通して、ディオファンタス近似論に現われる諸問題を、エルゴード論的立場から統一的に扱うことが可能であることを示した。(2)上記(1)で用いられたアイデアを高次元の場合に拡張して、複素連分数展開に関するA.Schmidt等の結果が、エルゴード論的立場から明快に説明出来ることを示した。
