本研究では、稲作経営の新しい発展の方向を示す経営形態と考えられている水田型大規模複合経営の生産効率について、主に計量経済学的手法により分析を加えた。大規模複合経営という経営形態の特色からいうと、(1)複合による費用節約の効果、(2)複合経営における規模の経済の有無、が、分析上の最大の焦点となる。このうち、(1)については、BaumolやWilligらによる「エコノミーズ・オブ・スコープ(範囲の経済)」の概念を用いて分析した。(2)については、多財生産における費用の産出弾力性の概念を整理、計測した。これらの分析に用いた主な分析手法は、(1)トランスログ型費用関数、(2)多財生産関数(Mundlakによる)である。データは、主に農林水産省「農業経営(構造改善)調査報告」を用いた。本調査は「先進的大規模経営農家」を対象としており、本研究の分析目的に適合している。主な計測結果は次の通りである。(1)〔米+耕種〕,〔米+野菜〕などの経営類型においてはエコノミーズ・オブ・スコープ、即ち複合による費用節約効果が存在することが確認された。(2)〔米・畜産〕の類型においては、エコノミーズ・オブ・スコープの存在は確認されない。(3)労働費や材料費に関しては、エコノミーズ・オブ・スコープが計測されるが、固定資本関連の費用項目については計測されない。(4)規模の経済については、各経営類型とも確認されなかった。(5)固定資本関連の費用項目については規模の経済の存在が確認された。尚、本研究においては、農林水産省「米生産費調査」の個表、農家からの聞き取り調査による分析も行なったが、これらについては現在、考察を加えているところである。

This study shows the new development direction of rice production management, the production efficiency of rice field large-scale compound management, and the main quantitative analysis method. The characteristics of large-scale compound management,(1) the cost saving effect of compound management,(2) the existence of large-scale compound management,(3) the maximum focus of analysis. The concept of " (2)The concept of productivity, cost and productivity is organized and measured. (4)The size of the system is different, and the type of system is different. (5)Fixed capital-related expense items are recognized for the existence of scale and expense. This study was conducted in the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries,"Rice Production Cost Survey" table, farmer's information collection survey analysis, analysis, investigation, and investigation.
