项目摘要

本研究は, 高度情報社会における必要人員の教育・供給の根本的対応策の検討に引続き, 学問分野における情報科学のあり方を, 長期的な視野に立ち, 国際的・学際的な観点からのニーズも考慮しながら, その研究目標と重点領域について討議し, かつ時間的スケジュールをも可能な限り明確にしようとする.日本の大学における情報科学の代表的研究者による研究集会を分担者の外に更に拡大・強化して開き, 集中的に討議を重ね, 次のような点について特に検討を行なった.(1)情報工学・情報科学・情報学と呼ばれる情報固有の学問分野の果すべき役割とその位置づけ. ここでは情報科学という言葉でこられを包括する. (2)情報科学の基礎研究と, 他の学問分野との関連ならびに, 大学における研究の役割.(3)長期的視野での基礎的・重点的研究領域の策定とその位置づけ本年度の研究においては, 情報科学者のコンピュータ中心的な外延的観点の外に, 情報科学の成果をツールとし, その方法論をより学際的に展開しようとする努力, 論理的・手続き的思想の在現のコンピュータに対し, パターン情報・データ, 感性的情報の基礎的研究の重要性と緊急性が共通的認識となった. さらに人間・機械共存系でのコミュニケーションの基本考察を意図した上での, 概念形成・言語獲得の自然科学方法論での研究ならびに, 知識の表現・通入・利用の科学, コンピュータソフトウェアの更なる基礎のソフトサイエンスの探求などが必要であるという提策である. 新たに素子は超並列で非論理型, 非ノイマン型の神経計算科学の必要性と位置づけも行なった.

This study is aimed at discussing the fundamental strategy of education and supply of essential personnel in the highly information society, establishing a long-term perspective on the division of knowledge into information science, considering international and interdisciplinary issues, discussing research objectives and key areas, and clarifying possible limitations of time. The representative researchers of information science in Japanese universities hold research meetings, share information, and conduct intensive and intensive discussions. (1)Information Engineering, Information Science, Informatics and Information Technology. Information Science and Technology (2)Basic research of information science, its knowledge division, its connection, its university research division. (3)The long-term vision is the basic and key research areas, and the planning and location of this year's research is in the middle of the year. The basic investigation of human mechanical coexistence system, concept formation, natural science methodology of speech acquisition, knowledge expression, access, science of utilization, and the exploration of basic software of mechanical coexistence system. The new element is parallel to the non-logical type, non-logical type and the necessity of computer science.
