Japan-China Joint Researches into the Changing Structure of Chinese Agriculture and Contemporary Problems Awaiting Solution.

This Project was executed together with Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Rural Development Institute, from 1988 to 1990, during 3 years. The common object of this project was to make clear the structural stagnation of Chinese Agriculture from 1985 social-scientifically. In short, from the points of productivity, structural regidity of agicultural lands and labor powers, agricultural labor powers, managements (for example, byworks), production systems (for example, agricultural corporation, agricultural service station), marketing systems (for example, cargo booking, selling), policies of each grade of administrative organs (for example, agricultural investment and finance), to research and analyze the causes of the stagnation of production was planned.For this purpose Japan-Chinese Joint Research Teams was formed. In 1988, in the rural districts of Peking, Shandong, Anhui, the research were done. In 1989, in the rural districts of Jiangsu, Jhejiang, the research were done. In 1990, in the rural districts of Shandong, Shanxi, Peking, the researches were done. And also, in 1990, at Chinese Academy of Social Sciences in Peking, the symposium of Japanese-Chinese Joint Research Teams was held. And also, in 1988, 1990, pro year, two Chinese joint researchers were invited to Japan, for research of Japanese Agriculture. At that times, the symposium were held.
