项目摘要

本年度の研究計画は、アメリカと西ヨ-ロッパの石油化学工業・化学産業の比較分析を中心に、本研究の基礎作業である国別、企業別等のデ-タベ-ス作りを早急に進めることを第一の課題とし、最大の重点を、これらの成果をふまえた、本研究の集大成におくものでした。昨年度からの継続作業である「デ-タベ-ス作り」は、着実な進展があったものの、本研究の対象となる時期・国・企業等が広い範囲にわたり、化学産業の構造上(技術的・競争的)の複雑さも加わって、まだまだ不十分な段階にとどまっています。さらに、本年度は、欧米において、本研究のテ-マと密接に関連する研究成果が続々と発表(公刊)されましたので、本研究を進める上でそれらを看過することができません。したがいまして、それらの研究成果の検討と、それを基礎にした文献、資料の補充に、かなりの労力を費やす結果となりました。「デ-タベ-ス作り」が不十分な段階であることと、最近発表された欧米での研究成果の検討が必要になったことから、本年度の研究計画の最大の重点であった「本研究の集大成」には至りませんでした。今後、分析視角を一層明確にし問題を限定することにより、本研究の集大成を急ぎたいと考えています。なお、研究経費のうち、研究報告書の印刷等に予定していた分は、本年度内に執行できない状況ですので、文献・資料の補充等に使いました。
