3年計画の最終年度として、新たに以下のような研究を行うとともに、それらの成果も含めて、最終報告書の作成を行った。(実技)(1)筑波大学では、美術系を対象として、留学生に対するインタビュ-及び文献等に基いた諸外国における実技試験の実体調査を行い、わが国との比較検討を行った。(2)東京芸術大学では、実技試験採点処理にともなう問題点、特に評価者間の評価のずれについて分析を行い、それを処理する方法について検討を加えた。(面接)(1)山梨医科大学では、さらに平成2年度のデ-タを加えて、面接結果と入学後の成績との関連を分析した。また、面接を実施している複数の医科大学と面接評価に関する研究会を実施し、面接評価にともなう問題点等について意見交換を行った。(2)千葉大学では、推薦入学者(面接・小論文のみを実施)と一般入学者との教養成績の比較を行い、面接・小論文による選抜の効果を間接的に評価した。(小論文)(1)名古屋大学では、平成元年度に引き続き、論述的学力検査の予測的妥当性について検討を加えた。また、平成元年度から論述的学力検査の評価法が修正されたので、その影響についても検討を加えた。(2)大学入試センタ-では、主として文献・資料に基づき、大学入試における小論文評価の意義についての考察、小論文の方法論的な問題に焦点を当てた内外の主要な研究のレビュ-、さらに各大学で実施された小論文の試験問題の整理・分類を行った。
