项目摘要

平成元年度においては、元年5月30日〜31日に大東文化大学会館において、高山洋一「手形交換所と中央銀行」、小林真之「アメリカ金融制度と証券市場」の二つの報告がなされ、討論が行なわれた。元年10月25日〜27日に兵庫県城崎町逓信保養所において、玉置紀夫「横浜正金銀行とロンドン金融市場」、横内正雄「チャ-タ-ド・マ-カンタイル銀行行内史料による同行各店舗間の資金フロ-ルについて」、紺井博則「ソシエテ・ジュネラル店舗間資金フロ-」の三つの報告が行われた。いずれも一次資料による新たなデ-タの提示であったので、きわめて活発な質疑が交わされた。平成2年1月21日〜22日には、大東文化大学会館において、赤川元章(慶応大学商学部助教授)「1914年以前のドイツ外国貿易の構造」飯田隆(東京外国語大学専任講師)「両大戦間のロンドン金融市場」の報告が行なわれ、討論が行なわれた。以上の合宿研究会の外に東京付近在住者のみの小研究会が二回行なわれた。元年11月8日に西村閑也「フランス地銀について」、2年2月23日に高山洋一「1907年のアメリカの恐慌について」の報告が行なわれた。これらの正規の研究会活動以外にも研究会参加者同志で個人的な討論が行われ、また非参加者であるが、上記飯田隆氏はロンドン証券市場についての豊富な資料を提供して、研究会活動に協力した。
