项目摘要

本年度は、昭和63年度から平成2年度に実施した研究項目について、各研究者が分担項目ごとに総括した。時に、下記の3項目を中心に研究のまとめを実施した。1.平成2年度に中国・朝鮮関係の鉄器集成カ-ドを印刷物として刊行した。(『東アジア出土鉄器地名表I』,90頁)が、今年度、デ-タベ-ス用の実用ソフトが完成したことにより、現在、大学院生がそれらのデ-タの、コンピュ-タ入力を開始している。2.日本関係の鉄器集成カ-ドについては、平成元年度までに弥生時代から古墳時代分の約5000枚のカ-ドを作成している。今年度は、それらを印刷物(『東アジア出土鉄器地名表II』 )として刊行するべく計画を進めたが、資料が膨大であり、予定通りに作業が進展しなかった。3.昭和63年度から平成2年度に実施した鉄関係遺跡の発掘調査について、研究分担者が調査成果をまとめ、研究代表者が総括した。砂鉄製錬遺跡として、島根県下稲迫製鉄遺跡、清浩山製鉄遺跡、鍛治貴跡として、島根県馬場遺跡、ハリガネ屋敷遺跡の発掘調査を実施し、これらについて、考古学的検討を加え、それぞれの遺跡のもつ意義を明らかにした。特に古代・中世段階での製鉄の実態が明らかとなり、近世の完成したタタラ吹き製鉄に至る鉄生産の発展過程が明確になった。これらの成果は単独で調査報告書として纒めることも可能であるが、中国地方全体の鉄関係遺跡と有機的に関連づけて体系化するために、『中国地方製鉄遺跡の研究』として公刊すべく、現在、平成4年度科学研究員費助金研究成果公開促進費〈一般学術図書〉を申請中である。
