1.従来の見解と問題の所在"浄土は心のうちにある"あるいは"浄土は心の所現である"と説く唯心浄土思想は、中国浄土教の主要な思想であるが、従来、部分的にしか研究されていない。本研究はその総合的成果を目的とする。2.経論に認められる唯心浄土思想阿弥陀仏・極樂に言及する漢訳経論290部は、すべて西方有相浄土で、唯心浄土思想の典拠になりえない。後に唯心浄土思想の典拠とされた経論は、唯心の諸仏・諸仏浄土を説く経論である。3.唯心浄土思想成立以前の主な思想(1)一般的浄土観では、弥陀浄土は低く〔応化土〕考えられた。(2)唯心浄土思想につながる主な思想は天台・華厳・禅系にあった。(3)唯心浄土思想の最大の典拠は『観経』「是心是仏」である。4.唯心浄土思想の成立ーー永明延寿の唯心浄土思想ーー最初の提唱者永明延寿の唯心浄土思想は天台・華厳・禅系の延長線上にあり、唯心の諸仏浄土である。弥陀浄土は「中下の機」と低く考えていた。これは従来の成果を訂正するものである。5.唯心浄土思想の確立ーー『樂邦文類』の諸資料ーー『樂邦文類』には、「唯心浄土説」道深・「唯心浄土文」守訥などの関係資料45点が収録され、唯心浄土思想の諸相が明らかになる。6.宋代以降の唯心浄土思想大正蔵経・続蔵経所収の関係資料は、宋代6部・元代4部・明代18部・清代35部あり、その変遷が辿れる。以上の総合的成果は『北海道印度哲学仏教学会』研究例会(3月11日)に発表した。また、詳論は『札幌大谷短期大学紀要』第22号に掲載予定である。
