项目摘要

心的機能をよく反映する事象関連電位の中の随伴陰性変動(CNV)および大脳誘発電位の後期成分P300を用いて、障害児に共通して存在すると考えられる二次的な心的機能の低下現象を定量的に測定し、その存在を確認することを目的とし、下記の研究を行った。CNVによる検討では、障害児群として、精神薄弱児、ろう児、風疹児、学習障害児を対象として、健常児との比較検討を行った。その結果、CNVの後期成分が減弱である、という障害児に共通した特性が得られた。この結果は、CNVの後期成分の発生起源から、各障害をもたらした直接の神経学的あるいは物理的・環境的原因によるものではないこと。また、CNVの後期成分は、期待、意欲、動機づけなどの心理的機能を反映するものであること。これらの点から、本結果のCNV減弱は、障害児となったことによって新たに生じてきた二次的障害としての心理的機能の低下が反映されたものと結論された。大脳誘発電位のP300成分においても、同様の結論が得られた。特に、P300では、選択的注意機能は、健常児と同じであり問題ないが、より高次の認知的注意機能が低下していることが示唆された。以上の点から、障害児の学習活動の脆弱さの背景には、障害児であることによって家庭、学校、社会などの外的環境から二次的にもたらされる、心的機能の低下要因が内在していることが、事象関連電位によって定量的に確認された。
