1.資料収集の成果 a2回にわたる沖縄現地調査により、沖縄県立図書館、議会図書館、琉球大学図書館、沖縄県労協、全駐労沖縄支部、沖縄労働経済研究所、沖縄社会福祉協議会、古書店などから貴重な資料を収集し得た。例えば琉球大学のUSCAR(United Stated Civil Administration of Ryukyu)、とくに労働関係資料、琉球政府関係資料(労働関係法令、労働行政、労働運動など)がそれである。ただし琉球軍の構成、配置を示す電話帳は一部分沖縄市が所蔵していることは確認し得たが、米軍より保管委託されているため現在コピ-の可否を申請中である。b アメリカの国立公文書館よりSummation of the Occupation of Ryukyu(マイクロフィルム)、メリ-ランド大学マッケルディン図書館より沖縄研究に関する米、英の博士論文のリストを取り寄せ必要な論文を注文中である。2.沖縄現地調査により、琉球大学教授大田昌秀、幸地成憲、増田弘、宮城悦二郎各氏、全駐労働沖縄地区委員長神山操氏、沖縄県教職員組合委員長福地曠昭氏、沖縄県立図書館史料編集室金城功氏などにインタビュ-を行っい意見を収集した。以上の資料収集から沖縄労働法制は時期によって大きく異なり、米国の労働法制、および日本本土の労働法制の中間的存在を示す性格を持つことが判明した。3.9年15日の日本本土と沖縄の比較シンポジウムにおいて報告、同16日沖縄タイムス社主催の座談会に大田昌秀、宮里政玄、袖井林二郎の各氏と共に出席し、日琉両占略の特色、とくに沖縄占領を日本占領におけるマイノリテイ問題としてとらえる必要性を強調した。また沖縄占領が本土と異なり米軍による直接統治であったため基地労働者は本土の基地労働者と異なりストライキ権を持たず、闘争によって民主主義労働の権利を獲得していった意義を分析した。
