项目摘要

現在の非線型の分野では、個々の応用問題を含み、多数の興味深い問題を作り出している。本研究で行なったものを以下に述べる。1.多段決定過程との関係。確率変数列の分布が未知のときの停止問題(与えられた条件及び判定基準の下で、確率過程をいつ停止させるか)分布関数が未知のときは論文がほとんどないので、(従来の存在定理では解の保障が得られない)比較的簡単なモデルをゲーム論的に解析してみた。今までの結果をより厳密に洗い直し、拡張したところ、解を具体的に見つけ出すことができた。解析方法はまだこのモデル特有のものではあるが、一般に拡張可能な予想をもつことができる。次に、上で得られた手法を用いて、多次元の停止問題を考えたが、まったく新しい観点で解の存在を保障する方程式を作り出すことができた。(従来は解の存在を仮定して、具体的な個々の問題の解を見つけていた)研究中。2.統計学の標本調査論との関係。統計学における判定基準は、上記のものと同様に非線型でしかも解析的性質も不明なものが多いが、最適性ばかりでなく利用上データに対する安定性を求められる。補助情報を用いた最適層別の問題で解析を行ったところ、補助変数の与える回帰関数の推定誤差等への影響は最適解の近傍では小さく、実用上ほとんど安定していることがわかった。現在、種々の数学的モデルの安定性について研究を進めている。その他、数値解析、偏微分方程式論においても、それぞれの成果が得られている。3.最後に。現在の研究分野では専門は互いに複雑に関係し地域的にも広がっている。この研究補助金をいただくことにより、研究集会、研究打合せなど多数の発表討論の場を与えられたことに感謝します。
