1.正量部説に関する従来までの知見は,プトガラ,不失壊といった特定の思想に限られ、その体系的理解にはほど遠いものがあった。この学派の体系的理解を可能にする資料として、新たに今日まで全く未知であった煩悩論,福徳論,業論,聖諦論などを紹介するDas^^´abalas^^´ri^^ーmitra作チベット訳Samskrta^^ーsamskrtaーvinis^^´caya(『有為無為決択』全35章)第16章〜第21章及び他章に見られる4箇所の設示を提示することができる。本年度は、第18章「非福決択」,第19章「福決択」,第20章「不動業決択」,第21章「聖諦決択」の全訳とその研究を行なった。その内容を説一切有部と比較すると,その多くは説一切有部と共通した思想を有していることが判明するものの、他方既存の諸部派には全く見られない正量部独自の説も多数見い出すことがてきた。その成果の中、本年度は正量部の福徳論を説示している第19章「福決択」に関し、その訳と研究を公表した。今後、この2年間の内に第18章、第20章、第21章に関し、順次公表する予定である。2.現存している犢子部・正量部所法の文献中には,梵語原典は存在しない。しかし、資料調査の過程で正量部所伝論書の梵文写本の存在が判明した。この論書はSan^^´ghatra^^ーta作の全550偈より成るAbhidharmasamuccayaka^^ーrika^^ーというものである。この写本は、調査の結果,恐らく故G.Tucciロ-マ大学教授の残した諸文献中に存在するらしく、現在確認を進めている。この写本の解読と研究は、正量部研究を飛躍的に進展さすものと期待できる。3.今日まで殆ど資料化されることがなかったスリランカ伝承の部派仏教に関する文献Nika^^ーyasamgraha中より、犢子部・正量部に関連する資料を2建類,調査整理した。
