项目摘要

戦後初期における日常生活課程の実践的研究の事例について,(1)従来から研究対象として取り上げてきた奈良吉城プランについて,卒業生を含めた関係者に対する聞き取り調査によって,従来の研究の補充,深化を図るとともに,(2)愛知春日井プランについて,インテンシィブな調査(資料収集,聞き取り,卒業生へのアンケ-ト調査等)を行い,(3)甲府北中プラン,(4)熊本隈府プラン,(5)大分春日町プランについても資料の収集と関係者からの聞き取り調査を行った。(2)の研究成果については,平成2年9月の日本教育方法学会第26回大会において発表した。このような研究活動を通して,およそ次のような新しい知見を得ることができた。1.奈良吉城プランの特色ある実践は,多くの卒業生に,深い感銘を与えており,40数年を過ぎた今日,卒業後の人生に大きな影響を与えたことを指摘する者が多い。2.愛知春日井プランの卒業生に対するアンケ-ト調査からも,同じ反応を得ることができた。3.教科外の活動が課程化されてくる過程や論理はそれぞれの実践例によって異なっており,全体として多様である。個別的な解明を行ったうえで類型化や一般化がされなければならないことが,改めて確認された。4.愛知春日井プラン,甲府北中プラン,大分春日町プランはその後の地域の教育実践に一定の影響を与えており,今日なおその影響が特別活動や生徒指導等の面で残っていることが明らかにされた。5.教科外活動の課程化が小学校と中学校とではかなり異った形で行われたことも確認された。
