生体において展体ならびに上,下肢帯における骨格筋発達の諸相をCT写真の断面観察によって明らかにするために35名の男性について体幹,上,下肢帯,下肢の10断面のCT写真撮影を行い観察した。その成績にこれまで蓄積した観察成績を合わせて,各断面の個々の筋断面積の性,年齢,ロ-レル指数体型による相違を検討し,体幹の第4腰椎椎体高(Erdheim8)および恥骨結合上縁高(Erdheim12)の観察結果をまとめることができた。すなわち,第4腰椎椎体高断面の観察では,加齢的に男性では脊性起立筋,大腰筋,腰方形筋の筋断面積は比較的早くから減少し,呼吸に関与する腹壁筋はおくれる傾向が見られ、女性ではこれらの傾向の出現は両者とも弱かった。さらに体型別には男女各筋断面積ともA,C,D体型の順に大となる傾向が見られ,肥満に伴う負荷の増加が考えられた。一方,恥骨結合上縁高断面の観察では男女による下肢帯筋発達の相違があること,年齢的に下肢支持機能,股関節屈曲運動の順に関与する筋の減退が現れること,また,肥満者における股関節の外運雲動および伸展運動に関与する筋の負荷増加が起こることなどが考えられる所見が得られた。これらの所見にさらに下肢筋の所見を組み合わせることによって,体幹や下肢の運動ならびに支持機能の性,年齢,体型による変化を形態的に把握することができると考えた。

CT images of 35 male cadavers, upper and lower limbs, and 10 sections of cadavers, upper and lower limbs were taken. The results of this study include: (1) the characteristics of the cross-section area of each section,(2) the age,(3) the body type index,(4) the height of the lumbar vertebra (Erdheim8) and (5) the height of the pubic junction (Erdheim12). The high cross-section of lumbar vertebrae of the fourth lumbar vertebra was observed in males and females, and the cross-section area of spinal muscles, large waist muscles, and waist square muscles was decreased in males and females, respectively. The body types of A,C and D tend to be larger than those of B,C and D. On the other hand, the high section of pubic joint is observed in both male and female lower limb muscles. The lower limb support function, the smooth movement of femoral joint flexion and the decrease of tendon load are observed in both male and female lower limb muscles. The findings of this study include the findings of lower limb muscle groups, body trunk, lower limb movement, support function, age, body shape, and morphology.
