This study discusses the design and effectiveness of a system for image database. In this database have camera picture, slide film and microscopic image. Generally speaking, when handling visuals it is more difficulties to maintain of key wards than it is when dealing with bibliographical materials.1. As an assist in the categorizing of visuals, the author used LOTUS 1-2-3 system application.2. This database describes the concepts, method and development of this computerized system as well as shows how it many be applied to science education.3. This system consists of the following : NEC PC-9801 Personal Computer, NEC PV-S98 Personal Computer Control Video and Video Monitor.
