この間、8月「ク-デタ」事件ののちエリツィン=ロシヤの「逆ク-デタ」を経て12月ソ連邦そのものが崩壊するに至った。したがった、統計資料の収集など、当初の研究計画どおりには運ばなかった部分もあるが、概要次の如き研究実績を得ることができた。ーー1)ソ連邦全体についてのマクロ的経済指標を、それが崩壊に至るまでの期間につき累四半期・累月ごとに収集し整理した。ロシアおよびラトビア両共和国の物価=貨銀水準にかかわる統計資料を収集し、その一部について比較検討した。2)旧ソ連・ロシヤ共和国・ラトビア共和国の「経済改革」に関する諸法規を収集し、相互に比較可能な形に整理して、税制・企業形態などその一部について一定の分析を試みた。3)バルト諸国の「経済自立構想」の出発点ないし中心がエストニアのそれにあることを突きとめ、エストニア構想の基本文献を収集した。4)旧ソ連邦全体と各構成共和国との経済連関を示す統計数値を集積し一部整理した。(上記の各種統計資料を含めて、さらに補助収集と整理をすゝめ、統一的なデ-タ処理が可能な形にすべく準備中である。)以上の、資料収集と整理およびその一部分析などをふまえ、これまでソ連邦に形成されてきた経済連関は、考えられた以上に極度の分業と専門化に基づくもので、構成共和国の経済発展を促す面を有すると同時に各国独自の経済構造を破壊する作用をもたらしたといえる。ソ連邦が崩壊した現在、それぞれの自立経済を求め構造的再編が必要となっているが、これまでの歴史的な構成ならびに現在の世界的生産力水準に照らしてみても、旧ソ連構成共和国間の経済的連関を完全に解体することは不可能で、この関連を土台とした再編成が行われざるをえないものと考えられる。
