1.アルゴリズムなどの研究交付申請書に記したように,研究代表者が試作した有理整数環上の行列に対するアルゴリズム(正確な計算処理のため,ユ-クリッドの互除法を用いる)の拡張を主な課題とした。(1)ある種の実および虚2次体の整数環上の行列に対し,上記のアルゴリズムの一般化を行なった。この内,いわゆる掃き出し法に関するものは,ほぼ完成に至った。なお,固有値・固有ベクトルの計算と対角化についても,大筋で完成に近づいたが,エルミ-ト行列・ユニタリ行列の扱いなどで細部の詰めを残している。(2)代数学,幾何学,解析学の関連分野での研究も進展をみた。2.プログラミング(ソフトウェアの作成)アルゴリズムの開発に伴い,プログラミングを行なったが,使用するプログラム言語の問題などがあり,当初の見込みよりは遅れてしまった。前記1の(1)に対するプログラミングはいちおう終えて,一部は教育現場での使用を試みたが,まだ使用環境を改善する必要がある。なお,グラフィックスについては当面,プログラミング上の新しい問題はないので,BASICで試作ずみのものを用いた。3.今後の課題少し遅れたアルゴリズムの研究を完成させるとともに,よいソフトウェアの開発のため,とくに以下の点に留意して,研究を継続したい。(1)ユ-ザ-・インタ-フェイスの改良(2)他分野のテ-マの導入
