项目摘要

In order to improve of the surface quality of continuously cast steels, a continuous caster with high frequency magnetic field applied from the outside of the mold has newly been developed. In a continous casting mold with imposition of the magnetic field the meniscus motion of a molten galliumused as a simultor of a molten steel was measured by a laser level senor. Moreover, a molten tin, used as another simulator was continuously cast into the mold with imposition of the magnetic field, and new functions created by the magnetic field were studied from the vied point of the control ofinitial solidification in continuously cast metals.It is found that the surface quality of the continuously cast tin can be drastically improved by use of the magnetic field, i.e. the intermittent high frequency magnetic field can produce a smooth surface. It is noticed that the surface quality of continuously cast metals depends on the period and the timing of imposing the magnetic field in a cycle of mold oscillation. The amount of electric current required to get the same surface quality decreases in the oprder of the imposiotion of thecontinuous and the intermittent magnetic fields and the synchronized imposition of it.
为了提高连铸钢的表面质量,新开发了一种从结晶器外部施加高频磁场的连铸机。在连铸结晶器中,用激光液位传感器测量了加磁场时镓液作为钢液模拟物的弯月面运动。此外,还将锡液作为另一种模拟物,在结晶器中施加磁场,从控制连铸金属的初始凝固的角度研究了磁场产生的新作用,发现磁场可显著改善连铸锡的表面质量,即间歇高频磁场可产生光滑表面。指出结晶器振动周期中施加磁场的周期和时机对连铸金属的表面质量有重要影响。在施加连续和间歇磁场以及同步施加磁场的过程中,获得相同表面质量所需的电流量减少。
