Solid State Spectroscopy in Wide Energy Region

我们计划通过本项目推动从远红外到nu射线的宽能量区域的研究。首先概述了日本固体光谱学的研究现状。我们在高分辨率光谱学、磁芯吸收光谱的磁圆二色性、自旋极化光谱学等方面进行了广泛的合作，包括实验和理论的合作。因此，本研究小组的四名成员被邀请参加1995年夏天在东京举行的第11届真空紫外线辐射物理学国际会议。此外，我们的合作小组在该会议上报告了30多篇论文。超高分辨率光谱学、谐振逆光谱学、软X射线发光、脾测量等技术均在本项目近三年来实现。此外，Spring-8还为进一步推进远红外- nu射线光谱研究提供了新的机遇。目前的项目确实有力地推动了研究的前沿，并取得了许多成果。

We planned to promote researches in the wide energy region from far infrared to nu ray through the present project. First we summarized the present status of the solid state spectroscopy in Japan. The we collaborated in various studies such as high resolution photoemission spectroscopy, magnetic circular dichroism of core absorption spectroscopy, spin polarized photoemission and so on including the collaboration between experimentalists and theoreticians. As a results, four members of the present research group are invited to the 11th International Conference on Vacuum Ultraviolet Radiation Physics held in Tokyo in summer of 1995. Moreover, more than 30 papers are reported in that conference from our collaboration group. The ultrahigh resolution photoemission spectroscopy, resonant inverse photoemission spectroscopy, soft X ray luminescence, SPLEED measurement are all become to reality in the last three years of the present project. In addition, new opportunities to further promote the researches in the far infrared to nu ray spectroscopy are under way at Spring-8. The present project really strongly promoted the frontier of research with many outputs.
