This co-operative study organized by 9 members of Hokkaido Univercity tried to clarify the social and cultural effects and problems occured by the developments of modern Science-Technology in each field of human activities.Nowadays the process of modernisation by means of technology, market economy and mass democracy has been coming to a turning point ; the comprehensive understanding of the relation between human beings and nature, social organizations and culture as a whole requires a total and critical analysis. Our project needs to be continued and has to be developed in a higher class. The results obtained through our research are pland to be published from Yuhikaku publishing company in these some years.

这项由北海道大学9名成员组织的合作研究试图阐明现代科学技术的发展对人类活动各个领域所产生的社会文化影响和问题。当今，以技术、市场经济和大众民主为手段的现代化进程已经到了转折点；对人类与自然、社会组织和文化之间关系的全面理解需要全面而批判性的分析。我们的项目需要继续下去，并且必须在更高的水平上发展。我们的研究结果计划在这几年由 Yuhikaku 出版公司出版。
