1.SDラットに対して,ライディヒ細胞を破壊しテストステロンの欠乏を引き起こす物質であるEthane dimethanesulphonate(EDS)を投与した。2.上記ラットに,EDSに加えてさらにhCGおよびテストステロンを種々の濃度と期間で投与することによりEDSの作用をブロックした。3.上記ラットにおいて,コラゲナーゼを用いて精巣組織より精細管を分離し、精細管内総テストステロンおよびフリーテストステロンを測定した。4.精細管内総テストステロンおよびフリーテストステロン濃度を測定し,これらと組織学的な造精機能回復の程度との関係を検討した。その結果,フリーテストステロン濃度は精巣障害との間に密接な関連のあることが示唆された。6.男性不妊症患者の精巣内フリーテストステロンを測定し,精巣障害の程度との関係を検討していく予定である。
