本年度は、鉄道や道路などの交通サービス産業や、研究開発組織において見られる人的情報伝達に基づく知的生産活動に着目して、ネットワーク型の生産形態の効率性に関する研究を遂行した。以下にその概要を記す。交通については、特に地域間物資流動の観点から地域間の産業連関構造に関する研究を行った。この研究においては、地域間物流の需要予測において有力な手段となり得る地域間産業連関分析の理論的検討を行い、地域内産業連関分析との差に相応する「はね返り需要」の計測モデルを開発した。このモデルは、地域間産業連関俵の整備されてない地域であっても、従来の地域内分析に「はね返り需要」を加味することによって地域間産業連関分析と等価な分析を可能とするものであるため、より精緻な経済波及効果の計測や、それに基づく物流需要予測に限らず幅広い応用が期待できるものと考えている。なお、この成果については土木学会論文集などにおいて公表している。一方、研究開発組織の知的生産活動の効率性評価については、人的情報伝達の効率的実現が知的生産性の向上につながるとの観点から、組織形態と知的生産性の関係を表現するシュミレーションモデルを開発した。このモデルは数理社学における偏ネットモデルの考え方を用いて開発したものであり、組織規模、組織構成、人的資源の配置、グループ間の情報交換の程度など、組織運営に関する諸元と知的生産性の関係を分析することが一応可能となっている。しかし、実用に供するにはいくつかの検討課題を残しており、今後とも継続的に検討を重ねていきたいと考えている。
