The Cohort Analysis of Inter-prefectural Migration and of The One-Single-Region Concentration of Population

研究的结果可以从两个方面来描述：一个是关于移民研究的方法问题，另一个是通过分析获得的新发现。在方法方面，1990年人口普查和1986年移民调查的分析证实了按年龄划分的分析的重要性。此外，在对人口迁移和单一地区人口集中的分析中，还提出了新的“群体份额”的观点，分析结果表明，80年代后期的迁移模式对日本人口再次向三大都市圈集中产生了影响，如果说在同一时期只有东京都吸引了人口，那是不正确的。从队列份额分析中提出的另一个观点是，人口向东京都区的集中并没有在90年代初结束。

The results of the study can be described by two sides ; the one concerned with the methodological issues of migration study and the new findings obtained from analyzes.Concerning the methodological aspect, the importance of age-specific analysis was confirmed from the analysis on the population census in 1990 and the migration survey in 1986. More over, the new idea of cohort-share was advocated for the analysis on m migration and the one-single region concentration of population.As for the results yielded from analysis, it is known that the migration patten in the late 1980's has an effect to concentrate population again to the three biggest metropolitan areas in Japan, and that it is not correct to say that only Tokyo metropolitan area attracted population in the same period. Another point that raised from the cohort-share analysis, was that it was not the case that the population concentration into Tokyo metropolitan area ended in early 1990's.
