Study on database of fossil ; type specimens

本研究的目的是建立东北大学地质古生物研究所保存的化石和最近模式标本的数据库。共记录到3856只杯足类和3000只石珊瑚。其中，362个标本与图片有关。每个标本中的数据包括：登记号、属名、种名、作者、日期、形成、出现、地质年龄、储存地点和参考资料。

The purpose of the present study is to create a database of fossil and Recent type specimens stored in the Institute of Geology and Paleontology, Tohoku University. Totally 3856 pelecypod and 3000 scleractinian coral speciments have been recorded. Among them, 362 specimens are associated with pictures. Data in each specimen include : registration number, generic name, specific name, author, date, formation, occurrence, geologic age, place of storage and reference.
