本研究では,次の点について研究を実施し,以下の研究成果が得られた。1.サヌカイト原産地の調査(研究内容)香川県五色台および金山周辺サヌカイト原産地の実地分布調査を1週間にわたり実施した。(研究成果)新たな知見として,従来縄文時代以降のサヌカイト採取地しか確認されていなかった金山周辺において,今回の調査で,旧石器時代においてサヌカイトを採取した可能性の高い地点が存在することが明らかとなった。2.サヌカイト消費遺跡の調査(研究内容)中・四国地方のサヌカイト消費地遺跡10遺跡について,(1)使用石材,(2)サヌカイト製石器の比率と種類,(3)サヌカイト原材の形態などの特徴および出土状況などの項目について実地観察による検討を実施した。(研究成果)新たな知見として,従来島根県隠岐島産黒曜石をほぼ100%使用しているといわれた島根半島においても,サヌカイトが一定量つかわれていることが明らかとなった。3.サヌカイト原産地および消費遺跡で収集した資料の分析・比較検討(研究内容)1.サヌカイト原産地と2.サヌカイト消費遺跡の調査で得たデータの分析・比較検討を実施した。(研究成果)新たな知見として,今回発見した金山旧石器時代石材採取地点の資料の検討によると,縄文時代以降の石材採取地点が石材の採取に中心があるのとは様相が異なり,石器素材剥片の生産や石器の製作もおこなっていることが判明した。五色台旧石器時代石材採集地点との比較が今後の課題として生まれてきた。

This study is based on the following research results. 1. (Research results) New knowledge: Obsidian produced in Shimakane, Kiki Island 100% used in Shimakane Peninsula, Shimakane Peninsula. 3. Analysis and comparative study of collected data of origin and consumption heritage (research content)1. Analysis and comparative study of origin and consumption heritage survey. (Research results) New knowledge is found, and now it is found that the data of stone collection site in Jinshan Paleolithic Age are different from each other in the stone collection center in the ancient times, and the stone material stripping and stone production are different.
