本研究の目標は、ワルラスの資本形成モデルを支える社会認識を解明することであるがそのために必要な作業は大きく分けて、(1)これまでの研究史において指摘されて来た同モデルの特質を確認すること、(2)それらの特質とワルラスの社会観との関係を主にアソシアシオン構想を手掛かりに明らかにすることであった。(1)については、主に、資本家階級と企業者階級の階級規定、言い換えれば投資関数の欠如、また生産費説と純収入率一定の仮定の矛盾、そして純貯蓄の仮定の不要性などを挙げることができた。(2)同モデルの非現実的な階級規定については、貯蓄をする会員が投資と生産に直接たずさわるというワルラスのアソシアシオン構想との関連において説明可能であることを確認することができた。しかし、あとの二つの特質とワルラスの社会認識との関連についての私の議論はまだ仮説の域にとどまっていおり、十分に解明できたとは言いがたい。しかし、この研究によって、ワルラスの一般均衡モデルが、単なる現実経済の描写ではなく、現実には存在しない理想社会のヴィジョンを表すものとして、ある規範性をもつものであるということは少なくとも確認された。ワルラス・モデルにおけるこの規範性と、よく知られている理念型としての性質との併存についてどうとらえればよいのか、今後は考察する必要があるであろう。また、ワルラス・モデルのこのような方法論的特質が20世紀の経済学へ継承あるいは破棄されていった過程についても今後の課題としたい。

The purpose of this study is to clarify the social understanding of capital formation,(1) to identify the characteristics of capital formation,(2) to identify the characteristics of capital formation, and (3) to identify the social relationship between capital formation and capital formation.
