1.今年度は北海道・本州の農業試験場・演習林を中心に5地点で採集を行い、食糞性コガネムシ類、腐食性シデムシ類、地表徘徊性オサムシ類を見つけ捕り、腐肉トラップなどの方法で採集した。これらの甲虫の体表上から、昨年度までに得られている21種のトゲダニ亜目ダニ類(ハエダニ科3属10種、ヤリダニ科4属6種、ダルマダニ科1属1種、ヤドリダニ科2属2種、広義のコシボソダニ科2属2種)の他に新たにハエダニ科1種、ダルマダニ科1種を得ることが出来た。ハエダニ科の1種は既に本州から報告されている種類であるが、ダルマダニ科の1種は未記録種あるいは未記載種と思われ、現在同定を進めているところである。2.ダイコクコガネ及び牛糞内に見られるヤリダニ科のEviphips cultratellusの飼育に成功し全てのステージを得ることが出来た。ヤリダニ科Eviphis属に属する種類はこれまで成体及び第二若虫の記載・記録のみで幼生、第一若虫が明らかにされていない。今回の飼育でEviphis属の未成熟ステージの形態が明らかになったことにより、発生形質による種、属あるいは科の類縁関係の推定ができるものと思われる。この種の未成熟ステージを含めた再記載論文を現在執筆中である。また、ハエダニ科の数種の雌の飼育も同時に行い、それらの未成熟ステージ及び雄のサンプルが得られた。これらの種類に関しても全ステージを用いて再記載を行う予定である。3.今年度までに北海道内を中心に全国の十数地点程度で採集を行い、多数のサンプルが得られた。これらのサンプルのほぼ全国的に分布すると思われる種類Macrocheles serratus(ハエダニ科ハエダニ属)を用いて地理変異の解析を行う予定であり、現在、形態形質を精査している段階である。
