1.研究の目的わが国の都市生活様式は、第1次、第2次産業社会を経験し、第3次産業社会を迎えるに至って、かつての職住一体形の生活様式から職住分離形の生活様式へと変化してきたといえる。そこで、本申請課題による研究では、都市生活様式の転換期における仙台市の都市エネルギー負荷構造を解明し、その望ましいあり方を見いだすための基礎資料を得ることを目的として設定した。2.調査研究の内容および成果(1)仙台市圏の土地利用に関する実態調査仙台市圏の土地利用状況を把握するために、仙台市を約100m×100mのメッシュに分割し、地図資料、国土数値情報等から得られる土地利用、建物床面積、人口分布(昼間人口、夜間人口)等の実態調査を行って各メッシュ毎に同定した。(2)都市エネルギー消費量に関する調査都市エネルギーの消費量として、住宅に関しては約150件を抽出し、電力、ガス、水道、石油等の年間月別消費量の実態調査を行った。また、都市全体での消費量については、仙台市とさらに比較検討のため、政令指定都市について過去5年間程度の統計資料から抽出整理した。(3)仙台市の都市エネルギー負荷密度マップの試作以上より得られた資料から、メッシュ別に都市エネルギー負荷密度を推測する事が可能となった。そこで、これを利用して仙台市の都市エネルギー負荷密度マップを試作した。都市エネルギー負荷密度マップは、グレースケール表示あるいはカラースケール表示を行っており、コンピュータ画面上あるいはプリンタ出力によって、視覚的に確認することが可能となっている。
