本研究では農家及び農業関連企業の動学的経済行動の特質とそれを明示的に考慮した市場構造変化及び動態的市場成果を理論的・実証的に明らかにするための基礎的な検討及び分析を行った。具体的には次の点について検討・分析を行った。(1)農家及び農業関連企業がその将来について予測する外部経済環境の具体的な中身とそれに関する期待形成の仕方,(2)同経済主体の動学的行動原理とその特質,動学的経済行動の政策的産業組織論的含意,(3)動態的効率性ならびに動態的市場成果概念構築の経済学的意義,農業及び農業関連産業の動態的市場成果,(4)動学的経済行動と市場構造変化及び動態的市場成果との相互関連,(5)同産業の産業組織変化の基本的方向と新たな政策の必要性。その結果、主として(1)及び(2)に関連して次のような結論が得られた。(1)近年の外部経済環境に関する期待形成においてもっとも重要なのは経済政策に関する期待形成であり、将来の政策期待が農家及び農業関連企業の経済行動に及ぼす影響は大規模農家及び大企業ほど大きい。(2)こうした政策期待の影響は経済政策の「動学的非整合性」(dynamic inconsistency)の問題を生じさせ、現在の状態を所与とした場合に最善と考えられる政策を選択することは必ずしも長期的な経済厚生を改善することにはつながらない。(3)それを左右する最も重要な要因は経済政策における政府の「信頼」であり、その獲得如何が経済政策の長期的なパフォーマンスを規定することになる。(4)これらの点を実証化する場合に問題となるのは「事前的データ」の抽出・獲得であり、そのためには、農家及び農業関連企業の生産計画に関する詳細な実態調査、とりわけ、計画と実際の行動との乖離に対する彼らの評価ならびにそうした評価の次期生産計画への取り込み方の実態的把握が必要である。

(1)(2) the dynamic action principles and characteristics of economic agents, the implications of dynamic economic action policies for industrial organization theory,(3) the economic significance of dynamic efficiency and dynamic market results concept construction, and the dynamic market results of agriculture and agriculture-related industries.(4) the correlation between dynamic economic actions and market structural changes and dynamic market outcomes;(5) the basic direction of industrial organization changes in the same industry and the need for new policies.
