Anti-proton and kaon experiments at particle factory

The aim of project is to investigate1) present status of physics with high intensity antiprotons or kaons,2) present status of R & D for high intensity proton accelerators, and to discuss3) future prospect of physics at particle factories which can supply us high intensity secondary/tertiary beams, such as kaon, hyperon, muon, neutrino, antiproton, etc.4) necessary functions for the particle factories where various international collaborations are expected.In order to study the items mentioned above, we organizeda) an international workshop on physics at JHP,FMI,and AGS (held at Univ. Tokyo, March, 1995)b) a small workshop on antiproton physics (held at CERN,August, 1995)c) a small workshop on kaon decay physics (held at CERN,August, 1995)d) an international workshop on high intensity accelerators (held at CERN,December, 1995)e) an international workshop on JHP-50GeV physics (held at INS-Tokyo, December, 1995)f) a meetings to discess future plans of BNL-AGS (held at BNL,January, 1996)g) Beam studies for high intensity kaons at BNL (at BNL,March 1996)h) Detector tests for hypernuclear physics (at BNL,March 1996)
