Research on Trial Products of retaining wall and Bearing Capacity Apparatus by Using Ground Material of Aluminum Rods

A professor have given good training in foundations and bearing capacity, earth pressure and retaining wall, consequently.The paper describes a method of and a apparatus for experimantal measuring the bearing capacity and the earth pressure for providing a theoretical for the design of the foundations and the retaining walls.In place of soil, a large number of aluminum rods having circular cross-section of different kinds, exhibiting mechanical properties similar to those of soil, are used in layrs.We believe that this experimennts will promote a better understnading on the part of students of basic concepts in foundations and bearing capacity, retaining walls and earth pressure, separately.
