项目摘要

1、『平安時代における形容詞対照語彙表』を資料として計量的分析を行い、次の点を新たに明らかにしつつ、本研究が有効なものであることを確認できた。(一部は学会で口頭発表、学会誌にも公表)(1)形容詞を新旧(上代語と中古語)の比率から分析することの語彙史研究上の有効性が証明された。(2)上記形容詞比率と平安文学作品の成立年代との間には相関関係がある。(3)上記比率は、平安前期は時代を追って漸次変化していくが、平安後期は安定する。(4)上記比率の変化から見て、成立年代未詳の『篁物語』は900年代末成立を推定されたが、語彙調査の結果、そのことが証明され、形容詞比率による分析方法が、国語資料研究にも有効であることが証明された。2、次の形容詞語彙表を作成し、それぞれの時代・資料群の形容詞の全体像が初めて把握できるようになった。(1)『和英語林集成』初版・再版・三版(公表済) (2)八代集形容詞対照語彙表(公表済) (3)鎌倉時代12散文作品形容詞対照語彙集 (4)『日葡辞書』形容詞見出語一覧 (5)八代集形容詞逆引き一覧 (6)『大阪ことば辞典』形容詞見出語一覧3、次の使用頻度順語彙表を作成し、使用頻度と作品共通性から見た語彙を、初めて一覧可能とした。(1)八代集使用頻度順語彙表(公表済) (2)八代集作品共通語対照語彙表(公表予定)4、作品内容と形容詞語彙の使用頻度との関係を『土佐日記』を例に分析し、次の点を明らかにできた。(1)作品内容と形容詞ク活用・シク活用の比率には関連性が認められる。(2)作品内容と形容詞の使用頻度の高い語との間には関連性が認められる。(共に報告書で公表)
