【方法】体重7〜10kgの日本猿を実験動物として用い、同種同所性左肺移植を3例施行した。この時、ドナー(D)およびレシピエント(R)の抹消血リンパ球(PBL)を採取した。移植3日目に移植肺の一部を切除するとともに、レシピエントのPBLを採取した。いずれの場合も、免疫抑制剤は使用しなかった。D-PBLをstimulatorとして、移植前はR-PBLをeffetorとして、また移植3日目の標本で、R-PBLおよびレシピエントの肺内細胞(R-PUL)をeffetorとして、one-way混合培養をおこなった。またコントロールとして、別の日本猿のリンパ球(3-PBL)もstimulatorとした。培養後3日目にMTTアッセイを施行し、レシピエントのリンパ球の活性度を測定した。【結果および考察】移植前はR-PBL単独培養を1とした時に、R-PBL*D-PBL : 2.6、R-PBL*3-PBL : 1.2であったが、遺書3日後では、R-PBL*D-PBL : 3.3、R-PUL*D-PBL : 21.1、R-PBL*3-PBL : 1.2であった。以上より、移植3日後には、ドナー特異的なリンパ球活性の上昇がみられ、特に移植肺に浸潤したリンパ球の活性化が著しかった。レシピエントの免疫担当細胞が移植肺のどの細胞を認識して、強い拒絶を引き起こしているのかは、今回の実験では、明らかにできなかった。
