项目摘要

1 ポーランド貴族(シュラフタ)の政治文化を考察する前提となる関連文献の調査・収集をおこなった。対象とした資料は、(1)ポーランド内外の研究状況を把握するために必要な研究書・専門雑誌のバックナンバー、(2)政治文化研究の方法論に関する文献、(3)シュラフタの政治意識や政治理念の分析の素材となる一次史料(回想録、日記、議事録、政治的論考など)、(4)貴族共和制期のポーランドに関連する個別研究文献、に分けられる。2 16世紀のシュラフタの政治改革運動の中核となった「法の執行」運動を中心に、先行研究の整理と一次史料の検討をおこなった。とりわけ16世紀半ばに議会の内外で重要な争点となっていた軍事・財政改革の動向に注目し、当時のシュラフタの軍政改革論の事例としてアンジェイ・フリチ=モドジェフスキとヤン・タルノフスキの軍事改革構想を具体的に分析した。検討の結果は、「16世紀ポーランドのふたつの戦争論」(『人文学報』第78号掲載)として発表した。財政改革の具体的成果である「領地の執行」の構想と実態の解明が今後の課題として残されている。3 17世紀のシュラフタの政治意識の分析の素材として、当時のシュラフタの日記・回想録(アルプレヒト・スタニスワフ・ラジヴィウ、ボグスワフ・ラジヴィウ、ヤン・パセク、ヤン・アントニ・フラポヴィェツキ、ヤン・ヴワディスワフ・ポチョブト・オドラニェツキら)の読解に着手した。今後、議会文書や政治パンフレットなども視野に入れながら、これらの史料の検討をさらに進めていく予定である。
