Research study on transition of folk-culture and custom in small towns

本研究的目的是从“城乡实体的连续性”理论的角度来接受城市的感性、习俗的转变和社会结构的变化。本研究的基本数据是通过在小城镇实地调查收集的，主要是在松东（石川县）、谷津（富山县）。除了这两个城镇外，还在土野（岩手县）、角宿堂（秋田县）、Kiiyu（群马县）和1利吉（国本县）进行了实地调查，进行比较研究。松东镇的历史可以追溯到中世纪，是农村经济的中心。江户时代，这里不仅有市场经济，还有植物油和染料的生产。自Syowa时代以来，小镇以其独特的城市容量，引领现代时尚和感觉，重新发展起来。一年一度的节日已经改变，因为成员已经成为工资工人。它是根据实践模型进行的，因此芙蓉已经失去了。然而，在富裕的城市经济基础上，Yatsuo发展出了精致的城市感性，仍然展示着活跃的节日奇观。造成这些差异的因素在于城市化的结构和对现代化的认识。

The aim of this study is an acceptance of urban sensibility, transition of custom and change of social structure from the view point of the theory 'continuity of rural and urban entity'Basic data has been collected through field works in small towns mainly Matsuto (Ishikawa-ken) , Yatsuo (Toyama-ken) .Besides these two towns, other field surveys have been conducted in Toono (Iwate-ken) , Kakunodate (Akita-ken) , Kiiyu(Gunma-ken) and 1-litoyoshi (Kuniamoto-ken) for comparative study.History of Matsuto town can be traced back to medieval era as an center of rural economy. At Edo era, the town has developped market economy as well as plant oil (natane-abura) and dye work.Since Syowa era, the town has again developped based on unique urban capacity, leading modem fasion and sense. Annual festival has been changed because the members have become salary workers. It is carried out according to practice model, so Furyu has been lost.Yatsuo, however, has developped elaborate urban sensibility basd on wealthy urban economy and still displays active festival spectacle. The factor of these differences lies in the structure of urbanization and perception of modenization.
