英文摘要
(1)The neutral wind is expected to play important roles in the inner magnetosphere because of the higher energy and momentum densities comparing with the plasma components. In fact, we discovered through this study a new large scale current system which is supposed to be generated by the neutral wind in the ionosphere. The above result obtained by the Dynamics Explorer(DE)-1 magnetic field observation was confirmed by the data obtained by the DE-2 satellite.(2)The ionospheric electric field irregularities have been studied by a conjunction study between the Shigaraki MU radar and the Freja satellite observation. The close connection between the TID(Traveling Ionopheric Disturbance)and the mid-latitude electric fluctuation has been found.(3)The IMF control on the ionospheric density has been re-examinedby using the Shigaraki MU rada data etc..Some new results which indicate the no relation between them are obtained.(4)A computer system for HF radar network data analysis is assembled and the software is installed.(5)A software to analyze the equivalent current system at any given time and date was developed.
