On the regional characteristics of modern elementary schoolhouses in snow regions -About Tohoku district-

本研究的目的是探讨现代小学校舍的地域特征。在东北地区（青森、岩手、宫城、秋田、山形、福岛县）和中部地区（新泻、长野县）建造的校舍的平面图与降雪的关系进行了研究。研究结果如下：1。2.在大雪地区（秋田、山形、新泻），很多学校都设有学生等候室。特别是在新泻县建造了一楼有大型学生等候室，二楼有教室的校舍。由于这种类型的校舍在宫城县和福岛县都找不到，所以我们认为这种校舍的类型是雪区的区域规划。

The purpose of this study is to investigate the regional characteristics of modem elementary schoolhouses. The floor plans of schoolhouses that were built in Tohoku district (Aomori, Iwate, Miyagi, Akita, Yamagata and Fukushima prefecture) and Chubu district (Niigata and Nagano prefecture) have been examined in the relation of snowfall.The results are as follows,1. Lots of schoolhouses contained students waiting room existed in the heavy snow regions (Akita, Yamagata and Niigata prefecture).2. Especially, the type of schoolhouse that contained large students waiting room in the fist floor and classrooms in the upper floor was built in Niigata prefecture. As this type of schoolhouse can not be found in Miyagi and Fukushima prefecture, so we consider that the type of schoolhouse was the regional plan in snow regions.
