This research tries to examine the political process of the reconstruction in postwar Japan. The article, "Party Politics in the Reconstruction of Japan", (March2001) is one of the research results. This article aims, first, to make clear the decision-making process on the economic recovery in 1946-1947. Above all, I'd like to analyze the relationship between party politics and reconstruction policy. For example, the domestic economic policy of the first Yoshida Cabinet is discussed. The influences of the GHQ/SCAP, the Japanese bureaucracies, the Japan Socialist Party (JSP) were negligible. The E.S.S.(the Economic Science Section) and the Ministry of the Finance always competed and cooperated mutually in decision-making processes. In short, the political process of the reconstruction policies was a multiple complex of plural actors and political parties.

本研究试图考察日本战后重建的政治进程。《日本重建中的政党政治》一文（2001年3月）就是研究成果之一。本文的目的首先是厘清1946-1947年经济复苏的决策过程。首先，我想分析一下政党政治与重建政策之间的关系。例如，讨论了第一届吉田内阁的国内经济政策。 GHQ/SCAP、日本官僚机构、日本社会党（JSP）的影响可以忽略不计。 E.S.S.（经济科学部）和财政部在决策过程中始终既相互竞争又相互合作。简而言之，重建政策的政治进程是一个由多元参与者和政党组成的多重复合体。
