In these 2 years we have got results as follows :We extract sensitivity information from music primitive data for some instruments vigorously. For code instrument, continuity of sensitivity is able to be got to consider a previous datum, and instantaneous tone is got for extension of our following research. For drum instrument, we are able to separate parts for rhythm keeping and parts for sensitivity by considering kinds of drum parts, easier than as compared with the previous method. For bass instrument, instantaneous tone is easily decided as compared with the previous method using code instrument. But sensitivity information from bass is not able to be got for the constraint of our research time. For melody instrument, tension is got from degree of deviation from scale, and we represent the condition of this tension agrees with cromatic scale playing.In our proposed working plan, we can not finish next subjects within the schedule time : extraction of sensitivities from beat swing and from bass playing, conversion to picture from extracted sensitivity information, study using data of live musician, construction of interactive session system and total appraisal of our system.The main uses of distributed cost is purchases of personal computer, software of musical management, standard MIDI files and other consumption subjects, and traveling expenses for oral presentation in the society and reward for live musicians.The oral presentations of study of code instrument are performed at 1998 and 1999 IEICE (The institute of electronic, information and communication engineering in Japan) General Conference.
