项目摘要

本研究の目的は、インターネット上のホームページ群の間の関連自体を記述するスクリプト言語を設計し、それを利用した動的ナビゲーションシステムを開発することである。本研究では、ホームページの間の関連として特にリンク情報に注目し、リンク地図として可視化方法の研究、リンク地図を記述するスクリプト言語の設計、リンク地図構成のために対話的システムの研究を行った。まずリンク地図の使われ方におけるブラウザとの連携の重要性のより、可視化のシステム実現に用いる言語をJavaとした。リンク地図のサーバにおける蓄積、クライアントでの取り扱いの軽さのため、形式としてはリスプのS式を選択し、具体的なリンク地図を構成し、表示するシステムを実現した。リンク情報記述のメタ言語としてのS式の選択により、編集と実現が容易になったが、それだけでなくサーバに蓄積される地図情報そのものをデータとして加工することを可能にした。この一般性については、APSITT99(Asia Pasific Symposium on Information Technology)において発表することができ、さらに幾何学推論システムにも応用できることをWebnet99において発表した。また、大規模な地図を表現するため、ばねモデルによるノートの配置を行なうように拡張を行った。このシステム拡張により、1000個程度のURLからなるリンク地図の可視化が実現できた。本研究では、動的ナビゲーションの元となるリンク地図の設計と可視化システムを作成できた。手作業を要した初期のシステムではせいぜい100個程度しか扱えなかったが、現在1000個以上のノードを扱えるようになった。
