Achievements of our research are summarized as follows ;1) Multi-Object Spectroscopy with FOCASWe have finished the commissioning run of FOCAS which is the Subaru observational instruments for optical imaging and spectroscopy. We have also carried out several improvements, optimizations and performance verifications. Especially, Observational sequence for the Multi-slit spectroscopy which yields a lot of spectra at once has established.2) The optical multi-color following up imaging for Subaru Deep Field.On the first year, we have carried out a near-infrared imaging survey down to K'=24 with CISCO for the 2'×2' region, which is called as a Subaru Deep Field. On the second year, we have taken a B, R, and I imaging with FOCAS.Now we have 5 bands imaging data for this field. We are now going to derive several statistics such as photometric redshifts of detected galaxies in this field. Based on this statistics we will determine the targets for spectroscopy.
