本研究の2年目である平成12年度においては、英仏等欧州諸国における高度専門職業人養成に関する教育行財政システムについて、前年度に引き続き、国内における有識者への面接調査、関連文献の収集・分析を行った。また、本年度においては、英国について、前年度に実施した現地調査においては不十分だった教育雇用省における政策立案プロセスや最新の政策動向に関する情報収集のため、再度渡航し、関係者への聞き取りを行うとともに、文献やその他資料の収集に努め、これら調査の結果の分析を実施した。さらに研究交流のため、本学を来訪した英国人研究者との意見・情報交換(講演を含む。)を行い、既入手情報の補強を行った。以上のような国内外における聞き取り調査及び収集文献・資料の分析を通じて、今後の我が国における「専門大学院」の方向性を考察するうえでの視座を求めるという観点から、欧州諸国における高度専門職業人養成に関連した教育行財政(主に行政)システムについて体系的整理を試みた。これとともに、我が国における大学院レベルでの高度な専門職業人養成に関する問題点を探るため、本学大学院の在籍者を中心としこれに潜在的に需要を有する者も含めた対象者を設定し、昨年度からの検討結果を踏まえた意識調査を実施した。(本センター生涯学習計画研究部教官の共同プロジェクトのかたちをとって行われた。調査結果については、現時点で解析中。)
